Welcome Logan!

Ok I guess it's about time I post about Logan:) Life has been crazy! Logan James Roy Lundell was born on October 10, 2012 at 5:55 PM. I had him here in Texas so things were a little different. He weighed 7 lbs 2 oz and was a perfect baby! I thought I was going to have him the night of the 9th because I was contracting a lot but I was finally able to fall asleep. The next morning I had John stay home from work because I was pretty sure he was coming. John came to my appointment with me at 10:00 and the doctor checked me and told me just to head over to the hospital. We got there about 11:00 and they admitted us. I was dilated to a 5. I got my epidural at then had my water broken around 1:00. At 5:40 I was dilated to a 10. I pushed for 15 minutes and he was out. The last five minutes were the worst. I think my epidural had worn off and I was in lots of pain. But hey, pain for 5 minutes all together...I can't complain about that! And in return I got a beautiful baby boy. My good friend Melissa watched Daxton and Hayden for me the whole time we were in the hospital. That was such a blessing to have her! They had so much fun at their sleepover!:) We got to go home the next night. Logan was pretty colicky for the first month or two but he is now 6 months old and he is such a good natured, sweet, happy boy! I can't imagine life without him. I love him SO VERY much!
Right before Logan made his appearance

Naps with Daddy! I think this is Johns favorite part:)

Gwen got to come stay for a week after Logan was born. It was so nice to have her here! The kids loved it and she was such a big help!

The Big Move!

On July 2, 2012 at 2:00 AM we arrived in Texas! I had applied for a job at Cook Childrens Medical Center online when we still lived in Cedar City and I got the job. Yay! But they said they needed me to start in two weeks! That was a crazy two weeks to say the least:) It was a LONG three day drive with a huge 26 foot moving truck pulling our truck behind it and we could only go like 50 mph. When we got to Texas we stayed in a hotel and I had to get up for my first day of work four hours after we arrived. Then John ended up getting a job interview the next morning in Dallas! Its a good thing Johns Mom and brother came with us otherwise we wouldn't have had any idea what to do with the kids. John got the job and started the next week. It was an adventure trying to find an apartment... We had found one online and paid an application fee but when John went to look at it while I was at my first day of work, he ended up just driving away. He called me and said "We cannot live there". I guess it was pretty scary. So the poor guy had to drive around a huge city in the huge moving truck with the kids and his mom and brother to try and find a place to live. Crazy! Thats the first time I can say I was homeless:) Well, he found a place. Its nice but its on the third floor! Anyways, my job orientation was from 8-5 Monday thru Friday and John worked from 8-5 Monday thru Friday as well so we had to figure out what we were going to do with the kids. Our prayers were answered when we found a lady in our ward who watches kids in her home. She offered to watch them and it could not have worked out better! She turned out to be an amazing person and the boys loved her! I dont know what we would have done without her. She has become a great friend of mine:) Anyways, we have now been here for 5 months and we really like it. I wasnt sure at first because it was SO hot and SO humid, the doctor that I found to deliver my baby (I will do another post about that) was...special, and I missed our families. But now it has cooled down and we have made some great friends, I get to see my Dad and Sharon more, and we really do like it.
OUR FIRST WEEK IN TEXAS!

Hayden and Daxton love the fact that we have a balcony:)

Like my cool boots mom?!

This was one of Haydens favorite things to do. Take all the VHS's out of their cases and put them in a pile. Good thing he is so cute!

THE FORT WORTH ZOO

Wow...very pregnant!

Don't look too excited boys!:)

I am doing preschool with a few girls in the ward. We trade off who teaches every week and we have it every Tuesday and Thursday. Daxton was SO excited about his new backpack that he wore it around the house for days! He even had to sleep with it! Here he is playing computer games...with his backpack of course! What a cute kid!!:)

First day of preschool

These are his preschool friends, Brooke, Kaylie, and Spencer. We are just missing Cohen. (of course Hayden wanted to be involved too)

Here is Hayden with his "buddy" that Grandma Marilyn made him. He loves it!

Painting pumpkins! Didn't work too great with finger paints but thats ok, it was still fun!

Halloween 2011!

This year Daxton was Woody from Toy Story and Hayden was Buzz Lightyear. We made their costumes. I think they turned out pretty cute:) We went to Toquerville and saw the grandparents and then we went trick or treating in Hurricane with Rich, Heather, and Dean. Then we all went to JB's and ate. It was a fun night!

Notice Koda in the background...he was Woody too:)

John is very talented. He painted Haydens costume. Cool huh?
